We are committed to fostering enduring partnerships that extend well beyond our contributions. The KAI Foundation brings together local communities, tourism and hospitality partners, government entities, and donors to collaboratively create a lasting impact.
Zambia
In partnership with the KAI Foundation, the village of Mugarameno now has a Maternity Ward with running water and electricity, providing a safe & sterile environment for the women of the surrounding communities to deliver their babies. Beyond the maternity ward, we have also built recreation facilities for the kids to utilize as they grow, as well as a residence for the medical workers and staff. The Zambian Government pays the healthcare workers salaries, an outcome of our intentionally collaborative development.
Cambodia
The KAI Foundation made a commitment to the Mebon Primary School in 2019. While the pandemic and the fact that the school is situated within a protected UNESCO world heritage area provided hurdles, the Foundation has delivered on this promise. Mebon Primary School in Siem Reap now has a playground, new furniture and supplies, and as of August 2025, a brand new schoolhouse with three additional classrooms. The new building allows the teachers at Mebon to educate double the number of students as before.
Kenya
In 2025 the KAI Foundation began work in Kenya to improve the lives of both underprivileged families, and wildlife under threat. Our efforts are focused in and around the Mbulia Conservancy, an area of southeast Kenya, near Tsavo National Park, that often gets overlooked for other areas of the country that are more popular for tourism.
Uganda
During the pandemic, resources were sparse and the ability for meaningful work to be done was limited. That did not stop the KAI Foundation from stepping in to support Uganda’s anti-poaching efforts at a time when they needed it most.
